For many years, the Gates Family Foundation has invested in the revitalization of rural main streets throughout the state of Colorado. Frequently, these streets are anchored by some type of theater, which can serve as a community gathering place, and are an important source of entertainment and cohesion for rural sildenafil barato communities. The current conversion from film to digital projection within the movie industry has proved a challenge for many of these theaters, as the investment required to make the switch can be daunting. The Foundation has approved a fund of $125,000 to support the technological conversion to digital projection in a number of theaters across the state. Gates funds have been matched by support from other sources, including the State of Colorado and the Boettcher Foundation. The Denver Film Society and Downtown Colorado, Inc. have been providing technical support to the effort.
