Project Description

A loan to capitalize the Small Business Capital Fund, which provides loans ranging from $250,000 to $2 million to financially underserved businesses. Roughly half of the fund, which totals $20 million, is expected to be invested in Colorado, with a majority of that being in the Denver metro area. Objectives of the lending program include job creation and retention, worker training, improving employee benefits, boosting minority- or women-owned businesses, reducing environmental impacts and assisting low-income workers.
