News: COVID-19 Response Grants

Throughout 2020, Gates Family Foundation shifted a significant amount of its grantmaking capacity from predetermined priorities into a responsive grantmaking pool of funds, to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. Grants provided immediate relief for nonprofits in the areas of public health, food security, and service to highly impacted populations, in addition to a number of contributions to pooled funds for systemic support.
